Car rental at London Gatwick Airport North and South Terminals
Operating Hours:
North Terminal Desk Manned 06.00 - 22.00 hrs
South Terminal Desk Manned 24 Hours
On arrival at Gatwick Airport North Terminal;
follow signs for 'Car Rental' which is opposite the terminal building. Outside these hours (06.00 - 22.00 hrs), go to South Terminal Car Rental Building.
On arrival at Gatwick Airport South Terminal, follow signs for 'Car Rental', which will take you down to the Car Rental Building on the Ground Floor level of the Airport.
Here you must produce your documentation and car rental voucher, the necessary paperwork can be completed and you will be
taken to the motor car and shown the controlls - please feel free to ask the car rental representative any questions about the vehicle before driving off.
Departure from Gatwick/returning your hire car;
North & South Terminals
The North Terminal Building is operational from 06.00 - 22.00. Outside these hours please utilise the courtesy telephone link to the 24 hour South Terminal.
North Terminal - National car rental companies are located in a purpose built 'Car Rental Building'. This is located adjacent to the South Terminal, with dedicated return parking facility. When returning vehicles, follow the Gatwick Airport signs off the M25/M23, following the overhead signs for the South Terminal and then the signs for 'Car Rental'. After parking the rented vehicle, proceed to the Car Rental Building to return keys.
Directions to London Gatwick
From London and the North: Brighton and the South
Leave the M23 at Junction 9 (Gatwick) at the first roundabout, follow signs for either the North or South Terminal depending on your flight departure from London Gatwick Airport.
